CANCELLATION POLICY

All initial session must be paid in advance in order for your session to be scheduled. We have a 48 hour cancellation policy in order to avoid being charged the full session amount. For all Monday appointments, cancellations must be made by noon on the Friday prior to the Monday appointment to avoid being charged the full session fee. Time has been set aside specifically for you which prevents others waiting to get in from being able to utilize that spot so it is important to be committed to keeping your scheduled appointments.

Forms of Payment Accepted

Accepted methods of payment: cash, credit/debit card, HSA card.

Southern Breeze Counseling does not accept insurance. We do not believe that insurance should dictate your mental health care. We also believe your privacy is important, and we do not share your information with anyone. Insurance requires you to give a mental health diagnosis (which is required to be disclosed on any subsequent insurance policy you apply for, including life insurance) and we like to focus on your strengths, level of care, and helping you to reach your potential rather than just on what is wrong. There are instances in which a diagnosis will apply, but insurance shouldn’t dictate that.

This doesn’t mean that we are not insurance-friendly. If you would like to use your insurance for counseling, we will provide you with the appropriate paperwork with the date, session code, and diagnosis for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. This is something you would need to talk to your insurance company about to understand their coverage and benefits for counseling.

There are no surprise bills with Southern Breeze Counseling. The session rates apply, and you will always know what the amount is and when your card will be charged.

Southern Breeze Counseling makes paying for sessions effortless. Included in the consent documents to start counseling is a payment method form. Your method of payment is automatically charged on the date of each session and an invoice is emailed to you.
